Read the research articleCobalt is used mainly in rechargeable batteries for electric vehicles (around 10-15kg of cobalt) and electronics (10g for some smart phones), as well as in jet engine superalloys, catalysts for industry, and various medical and military applications. Thus, leading to the pressuring demand for cobalt.
